The Cooperative does not pursue profit-making purposes. The Cooperative aims at collaboration between its members, who are forest owners and all forest owners in the Mendrisiotto region. The jurisdiction (operational territory) includes the Mendrisiotto region. Initially, projects will be carried out in the Valle dell'Alpe (Salorino - Municipality of Mendrisio and Municipality of Castel S. Pietro). The Cooperative offers its members the following services: professional and collective management of forest areas; coordination and consulting. The Cooperative equips itself with planning tools for forest management, primarily a Forest Management Plan. The planning and execution of forest management interventions in the Cooperative's area take place in respect of the principles of public utility, in particular those referred to in Article 1 of the Federal Forest Law (LFo) and other higher forest laws.
