The cooperative is non-profit and not oriented towards profit. It is politically and religiously independent. The Cooperative Society aims to promote sustainable tourism in the Alta Vallemaggia, the functional conservation of historic buildings and the withdrawal of real estate from speculative sales. In particular, the cooperative manages and operates the Garni Cà Stella hotel structure in Cevio (Bignasco) or similar establishments, offering its members and other individuals vacation stays or other services at favorable prices. Furthermore, it aims to rent the structure to groups, schools, associations, and families, providing a simple but functional space that fosters interaction, reflection, cultural exchange, and connection with nature. In its management, particular attention is paid to regional collaboration, the use of biological and local products as much as possible, as well as ecological infrastructure and business management. To this end, the cooperative can purchase, rent, encumber, and alienate funds, ensuring that the buildings it owns or manages are maintained in good condition. The company can also participate in institutions, companies, or other enterprises to the extent that this contributes to the pursuit of its purpose. It is authorized to carry out any other activity directly or indirectly related to achieving the same goal.
