The Cooperative aims to promote the economic and social interests of its members and does not pursue profit-making goals. The Cooperative achieves this purpose in particular through: the management of a shop for the promotion, sale and enhancement of high-quality local and regional products (both food and handicrafts); the management of a snack bar aimed at tourists and residents; the management of a ConProBio center to offer residents a useful service; the management of an Infopoint (to be coordinated with Lugano Turismo) for quality-conscious tourism; the management of a post office; the provision of a meeting place to promote social cohesion and the will to preserve the heritage and landscape values of Gandria; the promotion of taste education; and the offer of goods and services at advantageous conditions for members.
