To this end, the company may, in Switzerland and abroad, expand its existing production, installation and distribution facilities; acquire, rent and build new ones; acquire, own and manage participations in energy, real estate, commercial and industrial companies; purchase, produce, trade and distribute electricity; carry out installations and work also on behalf of third parties; open branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad; exercise all commercial, financial, industrial or other activities related to its purpose. The company may also acquire, own, administer and sell real estate. The company may grant direct or indirect financing as well as guarantees of any kind to its direct or indirect subsidiaries, as well as to third parties, including its direct or indirect shareholders and their direct or indirect subsidiaries, for the commitments assumed by such companies, also by establishing pledges on or fiduciary transfer of the company's assets or granting guarantees of any kind, remunerated or not.
