The company's purpose is: to carry out pumping works and to create and complete irrigation networks within the defined perimeter of the municipalities of Faoug, Avenches, Courgevaux, Morat, Courtepin, and Greng; to maintain the pumping works and those of the irrigation networks within the perimeter; to promote, through joint action, the interests of its members by purchasing, maintaining, and jointly using equipment, machinery, instruments, facilities, and technical premises necessary for pumping and irrigation; to also manage the distribution of water in relation to the allocated quantities. Its purpose is not profitable.
