The cooperative aims to create and maintain affordable housing for its members through joint action and responsibility. It strives to provide habitable spaces for all segments of the population, particularly for singles, families, the elderly, and those with special needs. It promotes community living in a spirit of responsibility towards the general interest and mutual solidarity. The cooperative may offer commercial spaces in its buildings. To achieve this goal, it: acquires the property at Route Principale 52, 2533 Evilard; builds and acquires individual and rental homes that meet the needs of modern cooperative housing; maintains and renovates existing buildings; constructs replacement buildings when existing ones can no longer be economically and justifiably renovated; uses instruments of encouragement in accordance with federal or cantonal and communal laws; administers and rents out housing at cost-covering prices; promotes cooperative activities in its developments; and supports conceptual and material initiatives for valuable and high-quality housing. The cooperative's activity is of public utility and does not aim to make a profit. The cooperative may participate in enterprises and organizations with similar objectives or analogous purposes. It may be a member of Coopérative d'habitation Suisse, the federation of public utility property owners.
