to create and maintain for its members, through joint action and responsibility, good housing at affordable prices; to provide habitable spaces for all segments of the population, particularly for single people, families, the elderly and those with special needs; to promote living together in a spirit of responsibility towards the general interest and mutual solidarity; the company may offer commercial premises in its buildings; the company aims to achieve this goal through the acquisition of building land and superficies, the construction and acquisition of single-family and rental homes that meet the needs of modern housing, cooperative maintenance and continuous and periodic renovation of existing buildings, the construction of replacement buildings when existing buildings can no longer be renovated in an economically and justifiable manner, the use of incentives in accordance with the Federal Housing Act or corresponding cantonal and communal laws, the administration and rental of housing at cost-covering rents, the construction of housing and single-family homes for sale in condominium ownership or superficies, the promotion of cooperative activities in the allotments, the support of conceptual and material approaches to valuable and high-quality housing; the cooperative's activity is of public utility and does not aim to make a profit; the cooperative may participate in companies and organizations with the same objectives or similar purposes; it may be a member of the Swiss Housing Cooperative (including ARMOUP) and Swiss Housing (Wohnen Schweiz).
