It aims to provide housing that meets demanding criteria in terms of the health of the inhabitants, sustainable development, solidarity economy and social quality. It pays particular attention to reducing the ecological footprint of the project, from design to construction and operation. It encourages living together in a spirit of reciprocal solidarity and responsibility towards the general interest. Consequently, it builds or renovates its buildings with the participation of the inhabitants. The cooperative may offer various services (commercial, tourist, artistic, training, etc.) in its buildings. It seeks to achieve these goals through the acquisition of building land and superficies; the construction and acquisition of individual and rental housing corresponding to the cooperative's housing needs; the administration and rental of housing at cost price; the use of sustainable and healthy materials; the sharing of living spaces and material goods; the development of a mobility concept; careful and continuous maintenance as well as periodic renovation of existing buildings; the associative management of common spaces and socio-cultural and intergenerational exchanges; the use of instruments of encouragement in accordance with federal housing law or corresponding cantonal and communal laws; and the promotion of cooperative activities. It is of public utility and does not aim to make a profit. In all its projects and activities, it guarantees non-speculative operation without time limits. The cooperative may participate in companies and organizations with the same objectives or similar purposes.
