The purpose of the Coopérative Origo is: - The promotion, design, development, and/or implementation of sustainable construction projects; - The promotion, design, development, and/or marketing of geo&bio-sourced materials and the training of a wide audience to re-appropriate know-how; - The promotion, design, development, and/or marketing of alternative, resilient, and local solutions; - The promotion, design, development, and/or marketing of materials and implementation methods; - Participation in research and development projects; and - Support, advice, and service to its members, in connection with the preceding purposes. The cooperative society offers a cooperative, integrative governance model and co-responsibility of all stakeholders in the construction process (clients, architects, engineers, companies, and craftsmen) without surplus profits and with transparency. Through these different purposes and collective actions, the cooperative must enable the economic development of its members by accessing new mandates and developing expertise in geo&bio-sourced construction. The cooperative society may engage in any other economic, financial, commercial, or other activity that is related to the purpose of the cooperative society or that directly or indirectly promotes its purpose. The cooperative society may acquire, hold, and market all movable and immovable property and rights.
