The cooperative society is a non-profit organization of public utility, its purpose is to develop and operate a drinking water supply network for the benefit of its members, who are the owners of the buildings registered in the land register and included in the company's area of activity. This water supply system is connected to the water supply network of the municipality of St-Imier. Secondary pipes, all owned by the cooperative society, are connected to the main pipe. To account for the quantities of water used, meters are installed at the entrance of each private pipe. The company may extend the main pipe. It can also capture water from its own sources.
