The company aims to promote, through joint action, the interests of its members as tobacco growers, in particular through: defending the common interests of its members and representing all tobacco growers in Switzerland: vis-à-vis public authorities, vis-à-vis tobacco industry companies grouped within the Cooperative Society for the Purchase of Indigenous Tobacco (SOTA), vis-à-vis other Swiss and foreign institutions; promoting tobacco cultivation; awarding production contracts to members, while respecting the balance of traditional regional surfaces; placing raw tobacco crops with SOTA at the most favorable prices and conditions for growers; improving the quality of crops as well as optimizing production and organization (for complete purpose see statutes).
