The purpose of the company is the management of assets of all kinds, in particular the acquisition and management of participations in companies, the management of its own assets as well as the acquisition, holding, management and disposal of real estate, always excluding the commercial asset management for third parties and any other activity which requires an authorization by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority (FINMA). The company may also enter into any transactions and agreements that directly or indirectly serve the company's purpose or are directly related thereto. The company may grant loans or other financing to its direct or indirect subsidiaries and provide security of any kind for liabilities of such other companies, including by way of pledges on or fiduciary transfers of the company's assets or guarantees of any kind, whether for a fee or not. The company may establish branches and subsidiaries in Switzerland and abroad.
