The association offers educational programs in the field of early childhood. To this end, training and further education courses are offered for playgroup leaders, parents, childcare workers, parent-child meeting staff and other interested parties. Furthermore, specialists from childcare centers and primary schools are also addressed. The training and further education courses are based on the principles of the Orientation Framework for Early Childhood Education, Care and Education in Switzerland, developed by the Marie Meierhofer Institute for Children on behalf of the Swiss UNESCO Commission and the Network for Childcare Switzerland. The association is aligned with the umbrella organization SSLV (Swiss Playgroup Leaders Association). The association maintains cooperation with other associations, cultural and social institutions at the district, municipal and cantonal level. In addition, the association can conduct all business that is related to the promotion of the association's purpose. The association can employ and remunerate staff. The association is neutral in terms of party politics and denomination.
