The foundation aims to promote the care of the religion and culture of Tamils living in Switzerland and to improve their religious care. The foundation operates the Hindu Murugan Temple. It provides additional services for Tamils living in Switzerland, such as cultural halls, libraries, childcare, counseling centers for women, Tamil, religious and dance classes, recreational facilities for the elderly, etc. The foundation can participate in companies and societies, acquire and sell properties, and conduct all business and conclude contracts that are suitable to promote the foundation's purpose or that are directly or indirectly related to it. In its activities, the foundation works with other corporations, institutions, and individuals who pursue similar goals. It participates in dialogue with Tamil and other religious organizations in Switzerland, Sri Lanka, and India, and can also support them. The foundation creates the conditions for interested persons to participate in religious activities. The foundation represents the interests of Tamils in Switzerland vis-à-vis organizations and authorities. The foundation board decides how the foundation's funds are used. It determines which conditions must be met to receive services from the foundation. There is no legal entitlement to services from the foundation.
