The foundation aims to preserve and maintain its Brig monastery church, promote and support social, cult-related (Christian), educational, ecological, and charitable projects and initiatives. It is intended to improve the living conditions and social participation of disadvantaged or needy people, without geographical, religious, or cultural restrictions. Furthermore, the foundation aims to ensure the livelihood of the Sisters of St. Ursula Brig in the monastery as well as to ensure any potential restart of the monastic community. Financial and caring provision in case of illness or need for care for each sister of the Society of St. Ursula Brig/Switzerland. Financial, organizational, and personnel management of the entire operation of the Society of St. Ursula Brig/Switzerland in the spirit and sense of the Sisters of St. Ursula. The foundation can operate both domestically and internationally, independently carrying out projects or supporting third parties pursuing similar goals. It is authorized to take all measures that seem suitable for achieving its purpose, including cooperation with other organizations and institutions. The profits and capital of the foundation are exclusively dedicated to the aforementioned charitable purpose. The foundation does not pursue any commercial objectives.
