Stiftung BVB-Oldtimer

The foundation aims to preserve and operate the historic vehicles of the Basler Verkehrs-Betriebe (BVB) and the public Basel transport system, which were brought into the foundation by the founders and further donated to the foundation, as well as the necessary spare parts, objects (such as line signs) and documents required for their operation. The historic vehicles are to be maintained and restored in such a way that they can be presented to the public and, if possible, are roadworthy. The historic substance should be preserved as far as possible. The foundation can conduct all business that is suitable for achieving its purpose. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
