Stiftung Clinical Neuroimmunology and Neuroscience Basel

The foundation aims to promote and conduct research, in particular the development, validation and facilitation of the implementation of sensitive, reliable and specific digital biomarkers that will enable the characterization of disease courses in multiple sclerosis and other neuroimmunological and neurodegenerative diseases in their essential dimensions, thereby facilitating the development of new therapies and predicting the course of diseases, as well as improving the basis for individualized therapeutic decisions - in particular through the creation and operation of a research center (RC2NB) that finances and accompanies research projects, including material and personnel infrastructure, at the University Hospital Basel and the University of Basel. The foundation board may extend the research activity to other research areas.
