The foundation aims to take over, manage and continue to use the dependent foundation of the founder "Fonds der Patienten und Behinderten im PZM" in accordance with its previous purpose, as defined in the transfer agreement concerning a dependent foundation dated November 29, 2016, in section 3.2. The foundation aims to receive, manage and use additional partial assets under a common administrative umbrella, which are dedicated by the donors through conditions exclusively for public and/or charitable purposes of various kinds and are in a broad connection with psychiatric services. The foundation aims to promote donations for public and/or charitable purposes in connection with psychiatric services in general, in particular by offering an alternative to the establishment of legally independent foundations. In particular, this should also enable partial assets to have a foundation function when the establishment of a legally independent foundation appears disadvantageous due to economic considerations or other reasons, taking into account the ratio of founding and management costs on the one hand and capital or its returns on the other. Within the framework of its purpose and in implementation of the conditions associated with the partial assets, the foundation can support social, charitable, humanitarian, medical, ecological, scientific, cultural or other institutions or projects in all their possible forms. The foundation has a public and charitable character and does not pursue any commercial purpose. It is politically and denominationally neutral.
