The foundation aims to convey Jewish-Christian ways of life between the 17th and 21st centuries in a contemporary, attractive, and sustainable manner. This is intended to preserve a significant part of Swiss history and culture for future generations and generate a cultural, tourist, and economic added value for the Aargau cultural region. The foundation is a non-profit, politically and religiously neutral, pluralistic institution that respects and tolerates the different worldviews, values, and ways of life existing in our society. To achieve its foundation purpose, the foundation builds a network of relationships. It engages in public relations, deepens and develops the existing communication concept, and addresses current questions related to the Doppeltür project. The foundation can acquire, manage, and sell properties and cooperate with other foundations or institutions (e.g., museums, associations, etc.).
