The foundation serves the population of the municipality of Richterswil ZH and the adjacent municipalities and aims, in particular, to promote cultural life within the municipality of Richterswil ZH and its surroundings. The foundation offers, through suitable premises, which are made available free of charge, opportunities for encounter and exchange in the fields of culture, science, education, as well as the promotion of artistic activities in the municipality of Richterswil ZH and in adjacent municipalities (exhibitions, lectures, discussions, association events, social gatherings, etc.). The board of the foundation organizes or makes the foundation's premises available to the public free of charge for this purpose. The foundation thus consciously contributes to the promotion of cultural and artistic life on site and to the strengthening of identity and community spirit, especially in the municipality of Richterswil ZH. The foundation is free to choose the means and projects by which the purpose is directly or indirectly achieved or promoted. The foundation can receive or acquire or rent properties for this purpose. The foundation should, if possible, achieve its objectives also thanks to voluntary involvement of various circles and through donations. The foundation fulfills its purpose through its own projects. It can also support non-commercial projects of other non-profit or social institutions in the municipality of Richterswil and the adjacent municipalities. The foundation is exclusively non-profit, it does not pursue commercial purposes and is not profit-oriented. All income and donations benefit solely the foundation and thus the fulfillment of its non-profit purpose. It is politically and denominationally neutral. It can carry out its activities in the municipality of Richterswil and neighboring municipalities. The founders reserve the right to jointly amend the foundation's purpose within the framework of the legal possibilities and the preservation of the non-profit status.
