The foundation aims to provide financial support to Swiss aid organizations that engage in humanitarian, charitable and/or ecological activities at the regional, national and international levels; to provide financial support to cultural organizations in the Schaffhausen region; to make financial contributions to the following institutions: the Christ-Catholic Church Community of Schaffhausen/Thurgau West for the purpose of making contributions to ecumenical institutions such as the Association for Pregnancy, Partnership and Life Counseling and the Schaffhausen Prayer Day Action; to organize public concerts and lectures; to organize church youth camps; to provide financial support to institutions supported and/or carried by the Church Community of Schaffhausen/Thurgau West; to make financial contributions to energy-efficient renovations of buildings owned by the Christ-Catholic Church Community of Schaffhausen; the Episcopal Relief Organization of the Christ-Catholic Church of Switzerland; and the Christ-Catholic Relief Organization Partner sein. The foundation's assets are used to fulfill its purpose. After deducting costs and making adequate provisions for asset management, as well as for maintenance and renewal in the case of real estate, the net income is to be distributed in the form of non-repayable grants or membership fees. The foundation does not pursue any self-interest or profit motive. It is exclusively active for the public good through direct services and/or memberships in institutions, corporations, and project sponsors.
