The founders have a pronounced interest in humans and animals, as well as the development and preservation of their natural habitats. As an expression of this, the founders have always been involved in, among other things, history and ancient art, and are committed to animal, nature, and environmental protection. In concretization of these areas of interest, the foundation established by them aims to a) promote and financially support the archaeological institute of the University of Zurich, particularly through donations of ancient art objects from the founders' art collection. b) promote and financially support non-profit organizations or institutions and projects in Switzerland and abroad in the areas of animal and nature conservation, animal husbandry, ecosystem preservation, ecology, and the improvement and preservation of living conditions for humans and animals. c) promote other non-profit projects or tax-exempt or tax-exempt institutions under Swiss law in Switzerland and abroad. The foundation board can concretize these priorities at the regulatory level. The foundation pursues exclusively non-profit purposes, is non-self-serving, and is not oriented towards any commercial activity. It fulfills its purpose in a charitable manner and is not profit-oriented.
