Sustainable maintenance of the existing school facilities in Bennewil and the Hubel properties. The foundation makes the school facilities available for educational and cultural purposes, as well as for family events and celebrations. To this end, the foundation assumes responsibility for the properties and the costs of administration and maintenance. The classrooms are made available to the municipality or non-profit institutions at a rental price to cover costs or free of charge. The provision for other purposes, such as family celebrations, is made against a symbolic contribution to cover the effective costs. The foundation does not pursue a lucrative or commercial purpose. It does not aim to generate profits or operate a commercial business. Income is used exclusively to achieve the foundation's goals. The purpose of the foundation is also to cultivate friendship among former students of the Freier öffentlicher Schulkreis Bennewil, particularly among those who contributed to the construction of the school building with donations. This friendship is cultivated, among other things, by organizing an annual meeting of former students (the so-called school evening), by visiting former students on the occasion of their higher birthdays and presenting them with a gift, and by presenting the relatives of deceased former students with a condolence card and a banknote for later grave decoration. The foundation council issues a regulation regarding visits to jubilarians and deaths. This regulation, as well as any subsequent changes, must be submitted to the supervisory authority for (declaratory) approval.
