The foundation aims to provide support and financial assistance to (i) students and other young people in training, mainly domiciled in Kazakhstan, for the purpose of their development, education and training in Kazakhstan and abroad; (ii) institutions and initiatives promoting education and social development in Kazakhstan, Switzerland and their neighboring countries; and (iii) other non-profit institutions and projects in Kazakhstan and Switzerland; all with the goal of promoting the development, education and training of young people in Kazakhstan, as well as mutual understanding and cooperation between the populations of Kazakhstan and Switzerland. The net income of the foundation's assets serves primarily to fulfill the foundation's purpose. In case of need, the foundation's assets may also be used to maintain a meaningful funding activity. The foundation board determines the amount available for funding purposes each year. Funding is provided at the discretion of the foundation board and without any legal entitlement. The foundation does not pursue any commercial purpose and does not strive for profit.
