Promotion of research and education, further education and training in the field of general practitioner medicine. The purpose of the foundation is to be achieved by carrying out and promoting research projects on topics relevant to general practitioner medicine, particularly from the fields of epidemiology, population health care, doctor-patient relationship, family medicine, diagnostic and therapeutic problem-solving methods, implementation in practice and societal context. The projects for the education, further education and training of (future) general practitioners are intended to serve the goal of securing and maintaining high-quality general practitioner care for the population.
