The foundation aims to promote cardiovascular research and all projects directly or indirectly related to it, primarily in the canton of Basel-Stadt. Furthermore, it aims to provide training and continuing education for cardiologists and to promote measures to improve patient management. The foundation does not pursue any economic purposes. Within the framework of its own purpose or partial purpose, the foundation can also establish other foundations. The foundation does not pay any payments for global costs (so-called overhead).
