The foundation is established for social purposes of the Kaufmännischer Verband Basel, in particular: a) For members of the Kaufmännischer Verband Basel, such as - Unemployment assistance, - Retraining measures for the unemployed, - Measures to promote vocational training and further education, - General welfare, - Promotion of affordable holidays, such as the subsidization of REKA checks; b) Other individuals or institutions - Awards for graduates in the field of commercial apprenticeship exams in Basel, - Awards for successful candidates of commercial apprenticeship exams in Basel who had to complete their training and/or exams under difficult circumstances, - Establishment of new or support for existing disabled workshops where invalid commercial employees are employed.
