The purpose of the foundation is to promote responsible and sustainable entrepreneurship, particularly in the area of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The foundation motivates, promotes and supports individuals and companies that, through their economic activities, serve the common good of society as a whole; specifically by: creating and maintaining jobs, if possible also for people with reduced performance capabilities; taking co-responsibility towards the affected environment and the environment; contributing to the solution of social challenges in the immediate vicinity; engaging in health promotion and disease prevention for employees; observing intergenerational sustainability; promoting local economic cycles; supporting private initiatives such as volunteer work and political participation (independent of party affiliation); advocating for socially beneficial values such as modesty, sincerity, gratitude, responsibility, rule of law and tax honesty. A prerequisite for support is the willingness to take concrete implementation steps in the sense of the foundation's purpose and the willingness to undergo ongoing review and supervision. The foundation supports measures that serve these goals with financial resources, in particular through the provision of loans or through capital investments. Coaching services, training measures and the formation of networks can also be mediated and financed. For this purpose, the foundation may enter into contracts and commitments. It can cooperate with other institutions and companies within the framework of the aforementioned purpose, enter into cooperations or support these organizations. Furthermore, the activity can be extended to other purposeful areas. The main area of activity is in Switzerland. Activities in other countries are also possible. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial or profit-making purpose.
