The purpose of the foundation is to provide financial support to young people of both sexes, regardless of their denomination, who have been resident in the canton of Grisons for at least 2 years, up to the age of 30, for their secondary education, tertiary education or second-chance education. The beneficiaries are provided with means to enable them to attend the institution that offers the desired education. The foundation may provide its services in coordination with other foundations with the same or similar purpose, make grants to foundations, public-law corporations and institutions with a similar foundation purpose, or, if the available funds are insufficient for the economically sensible achievement of the purpose, transfer the foundation's assets to such an institution with a similar purpose. The foundation may acquire, finance or sell real estate for the direct or indirect fulfillment of its purpose. The foundation has a non-profit character.
