The foundation promotes and supports medical research and the preservation, maintenance and enhancement of nature and the environment, as well as charitable purposes, throughout Switzerland. To this end, it can take all necessary measures (such as employing staff, providing, operating or promoting infrastructure, offering, providing or supporting advice and services of all kinds, concluding performance agreements, etc.). Properties can be acquired, managed and sold. The foundation has a non-profit character and therefore has no commercial purpose and does not aim to make a profit.
