The foundation aims to promote a therapeutic educational approach throughout the Swiss school and education system. It advocates for the affirmation and protection of all human life and for the right of people with disabilities to holistic education, promotion and optimal quality of life, regardless of the degree of their disability. In particular, the foundation supports: practical therapeutic educational assistance, the training, further education and continuing education of qualified and ethically motivated therapeutic educators who also take human rights seriously in their profession, responsible therapeutic educational research, the dissemination of therapeutic educational ideas in the pedagogical-psychological specialist and professional world and in the broader public. The foundation supports the goals of the Therapeutic Educational Institute of the University of Fribourg in Switzerland in a spiritual and material way. To this end, it advocates for its goals and those of the Institute with private and public authorities, provides advisory support to the Institute, and helps to provide the necessary resources for the Institute's healthy development, but these resources may not be used for the Institute's regular operations. The foundation operates throughout Switzerland within the framework of its purpose. The foundation's profits and capital are exclusively dedicated to the aforementioned purpose. Profit-making purposes are excluded.
