The foundation aims to continue using the sacred spaces of the Capuchin Church in Brig-Glis for their original purpose (for worship services such as Eucharistic celebrations, word of God celebrations, blessing celebrations, devotions, meditations, ecumenical and interfaith celebrations, etc., specifically baptisms, weddings and funerals, the organization of various events such as religious and ethical educational, social and cultural events, always in the spirit of the Gospel, in these spaces, to maintain and preserve the furnishings of the sacred spaces in their Franciscan simplicity and orientation, to ensure the maintenance of the property (church, inner choir, sacristy, adjacent room with WEC, cellar rooms), to guarantee the upkeep of the Capuchin cemetery for at least the legally prescribed period of rest, and to raise the necessary funds for the maintenance of the property. The foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
