The purpose of the foundation is to promote and financially support non-profit animal welfare organizations or institutions and projects in the field of animal welfare (in particular bird and parrot protection) and animal husbandry. The foundation also contributes to the improvement and preservation of living conditions for animals. It pursues this purpose, among other things, by providing one-time or recurring financial contributions to organizations and institutions in Switzerland and abroad. It can also participate directly in projects. The foundation can also focus on the preservation of old, endangered, and rare animal species or breeds (specie rara). To achieve this goal, it can support and promote projects for species conservation. It can also extend its activities to the field of ecology and environmental protection, as long as this is in line with the aforementioned purpose. Furthermore, the foundation aims to ensure the financial security of the maintenance of all animals owned by the founder at the time of her death. This includes, among other things, the financing of suitable accommodation, comprehensive nutrition, and medical and personal care. The foundation exclusively pursues non-profit purposes, is selfless, and is not oriented towards any commercial activity. It fulfills its purpose in a charitable manner and is not profit-oriented.
