Stiftung Kloster St. Klara Stans

The St. Klara Stans Monastery Foundation aims to relocate the sisters to the new seat of the sisterhood and ensure their livelihood and personal well-being; to continue the Franciscan values of the sisters of St. Klara Stans in the best possible way, and to preserve the protected buildings and movable cultural assets in the center of Stans; to ensure the maintenance and optimal use of the buildings, the monastery area, and the agricultural operation. As a church foundation, it pursues a church purpose due to the securing of the livelihood of the sisterhood and has a close connection with the monastic community. Furthermore, the foundation has a non-profit character and does not pursue any commercial purpose.
