Support for the Canton of Basel-Stadt and the City of Basel's municipal government in reorganizing the use of the Lohnhof property, Leonhardskirchplatz 3, Basel, Section III, Parcel 27, particularly as a location for the Basel Historical Museum's musical instrument collection and other non-profit, cultural, or social institutions and organizations, as well as a location for residential and commercial spaces. To this end, the foundation may, inter alia, acquire the Lohnhof in whole or in part through ownership, building rights, sub-building rights, or condominium ownership, or conclude usage agreements for the property as a whole or in part, particularly through rental, lease, or loan agreements, with the Canton or the municipal government or third parties regarding the renovation, conversion, and equipment for the new use of the Lohnhof, establish and operate organizations and sponsorship structures, and provide financial or other contributions to the Canton or the municipal government or third parties for the establishment and operation of the new use of the Lohnhof.
