The foundation is a non-profit organization that supports activities in the fields of culture, education, ideological and religious exchange, and the development of socio-political concepts. The founder's intention is to promote dialogue between different cultural approaches, particularly on the basis of different religious backgrounds, and to provide educational work through events and publications. The foundation organizes public events (exhibitions, lectures, etc.) on the life and work of the painter Karl Hofer, as well as on the fate of his first wife Mathilde Scheinberger-Hofer and their sons. The foundation supports institutions and private individuals in their work within the framework of the foundation's purpose. The foundation operates both domestically and internationally within the scope of its purpose. The foundation has no commercial purpose and does not strive for profit.
