The foundation aims to bring the social dimension of the Gospel to the fore in this world through concrete action, by supporting people who are particularly weakened and hindered in their participation in life due to individual, societal or fateful reasons. Support is provided to needy individuals regardless of their origin, denomination, age and gender, provided they accept Christian values. To achieve its foundation purpose, the foundation provides housing in the sense of an alternative parsonage to vulnerable individuals below market value, where the foundation aims to achieve cost-covering rents in the long term without being profit-oriented. The foundation can also support individuals in other ways within the framework of the foundation's purpose. The foundation's area of activity is primarily the Basel region, in particular the city of Basel.
