The foundation aims to take over the castle complex in Buttisholz, which is under federal and cantonal monument protection on parcel no. 351, land register Buttisholz, the Soppensee, which is under cantonal protection, with the associated boathouse on parcel no. 712, land register Buttisholz, as well as the collection of paintings including existing sketches and documentations of the landscape painter (inter alia for Queen Victoria of England) and 6th fideicommissary Niklaus Pfyffer (1836 - 1908) one day as the appointed heir of the founder or as the heir of his possibly surviving wife, and to maintain the castle complex, the Soppensee and the painting collection in the interest of the public and to preserve the memory of the Pfyffer-Feer fideicommiss for posterity. These assets of the former fideicommiss estate shall also be available for cultural, cultural-historical and scientific purposes. Until the takeover of the castle property, the Soppensee and the painting collection, the foundation will advise the founder in his asset management and strive for the transfer of knowledge from the founder to the foundation. The foundation can be donated parts of the former fideicommiss estate, namely fishing rights and other rights, which have belonged to the fideicommiss since time immemorial, even during the founder's lifetime.
