The foundation aims to support and promote people with disabilities, primarily children with cerebral palsy and mentally disabled individuals, living in the Greater Bern Region. The foundation takes and supports all measures suitable to fulfill its purpose; in particular, it is responsible for the non-profit organization of the PrixPrintemps award ceremony. Other charity events may replace the PrixPrintemps. The PrixPrintemps recognizes individuals, groups, associations, or institutions that represent or care for people with disabilities in the Greater Bern Region, primarily children with cerebral palsy and mentally disabled individuals, for their exceptional achievements or needs - especially in initiating and pursuing sustainable projects - in five areas: supporting people with disabilities in transitional situations; work integration, i.e., integration into the labor market; projects related to the transition from childhood to adolescence and adulthood; housing, i.e., new forms of living; and leisure and cultural activities.
