The foundation supports and promotes community life and the development of the Sternenberg district within the former political municipality of Sternenberg. Services are to be designed to always benefit the general public. The circle of beneficiaries is limited to individuals and corporations with a residence or registered office within the boundaries of the municipality of Sternenberg as of December 31, 2013. Services can be provided: To support and promote associations that contribute to the community; To support and promote sporting, cultural, traditional, and social events; For measures that serve the maintenance or preservation of buildings and facilities; To promote public services that go beyond basic services. The foundation can engage in purpose-promoting public relations, rent or lease properties, acquire, encumber, or sell land and limited real rights, and participate in corporations. The foundation maintains cooperation with all institutions, organizations, and communities active in its catchment area. The foundation exclusively pursues non-profit purposes. It is politically and denominationally neutral. It does not pursue commercial or self-help purposes and does not aim to make a profit.
