The foundation supports botanical and cultural activities and publications. It supports cooperation with organizations with related goals and projects related to climate warming, enabling in-depth knowledge of native and non-native woody plants and perennials to be gained. In general, its aim is to convey knowledge and joy of flora, promote its protection, and maintain contacts with Swiss and international botanical institutions, societies, and associations, also providing them with financial support. Furthermore, it aims to preserve, maintain, develop, and make available to the interested public the grounds of the woody plant collections in Champ Raclé 19, Murten, Munelier, and Chemin de l'Enclos 4, Sugiez. The foundation operates in Switzerland and abroad within the scope of its purpose. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or profit-oriented purpose.
