The non-profit foundation aims to preserve and convey the cultural heritage and history of the Neu-Schauenburg castle ruins and the adjacent pavilion in Frenkendorf, Canton of Basel-Landschaft, specifically their investigation, renovation, maintenance, care, and archaeological and historical research. The castle ruins and the results of the research are to be made accessible to the public in an appropriate manner. In particular, public guided tours are to be conducted. The foundation can also cultivate, protect, and research the flora and fauna on the castle ruins' property and its surroundings. The foundation can also fulfill its purpose with regard to other historical monuments, specifically castles. The foundation can carry out all activities that fall within the scope of its purpose or are related to it in a material way. To fulfill its purpose, it can specifically collaborate with and support suitable private and public institutions and organizations. The foundation fulfills its purpose in the Canton of Basel-Landschaft. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
