The foundation aims to promote environmental and species protection both domestically and internationally. The purpose of the foundation is to promote the preservation and expansion of domestic forests, rainforests as a network of wilderness (particularly in Costa Rica, Panama, Paraguay, Brazil, and Germany), as well as protected areas, and to commit to national and international environmental protection. The foundation is politically and denominationally independent, non-partisan, non-violent, and pursues its purpose through non-violent actions, public relations and lobbying, as well as education and counseling. The foundation exclusively and directly pursues non-profit purposes in the sense of the section Tax-privileged purposes of the Tax Code in the respective valid version. The purpose of the foundation is realized in particular through the implementation of projects and activities for the protection of the already strongly fragmented ecosystem worldwide. This is an important contribution to global climate, forest, and biodiversity protection and is the basis for human existence, targeted networking of hotspots and protected areas through the establishment of green corridors and stepping stone biotopes for species and process protection to ensure the long-term security of biomes in the target areas.
