The foundation aims to ensure the financial continuation and publication of the Swiss monthly (magazine for politics, economy and culture) as much as possible in its current state. In doing so, the Swiss monthly should continue to cultivate and maintain its previous intellectual direction, particularly by addressing the following issues: a) Politics, fundamental political questions, national and international politics, comments on foreign policy, domestic policy review, church policy, military issues, b) Economy, industry, agriculture, financial problems, planning, development aid, c) Culture, European orientation, literature, art, music, philosophy. Within this framework, particular emphasis should be placed on a liberal attitude, the preservation of a free economy, the fight against all collectivist or communist tendencies, as well as the purpose-free nature of literature, art, and music. The Swiss monthly should refrain from any denominational ties; international issues should be treated from a Swiss as well as a foreign perspective; special attention should also be paid to economic difficulties and development aid for African, Asian, and South American countries.
