The foundation aims to promote the art historical and art technological research as well as the preservation of Italian sculpture from the Renaissance to Neoclassicism. The foundation's purpose is to be achieved through the granting of financial donations for art historical and art technological studies, restorations, photographic documentation, publications, as well as for exhibitions and other forms of mediation of scientific research results. Collections accessible to the public or individuals who dedicate themselves to these fields as students, art historians, or restorers are supported. The foundation pursues its non-profit purposes nationally and internationally. It is politically and denominationally neutral and does not pursue any profit-making purpose. The entire foundation's assets are to be used exclusively for the realization of the foundation's purpose. The foundation can support any non-profit institutions in Switzerland and abroad with the same or similar purpose, either financially or in other ways, and/or cooperate with them.
