The foundation aims to promote and financially support the Pro Senectute foundation of both Basel, based in Basel, on a regional basis. This purpose is to be pursued in particular by: a) making a general financial contribution to the beneficiary Pro Senectute foundation of both Basel or to the individuals supported by it in the region; b) taking over or co-financing the costs of projects and services that the beneficiary Pro Senectute foundation of both Basel implements for a larger group of people; c) acquiring furniture or other objects that benefit a larger group of older people. If Pro Senectute of both Basel ceases its non-profit activities or is no longer able to carry them out properly, the foundation board shall pursue the promotion and financial support of the SAH Swiss Workers' Relief Organization at Quellenstrasse 31 in Zurich as a substitute purpose.
