The foundation, as a non-profit organization, supports and promotes the Tide-Labs technology and similar technologies to make them available to the general public. The primary focus, but not exclusively, is on promoting and developing the so-called Tidechain protocol and corresponding technologies, as well as promoting and supporting applications that utilize the Tidechain protocol. To this end, the foundation can promote activities, finance corresponding activities and projects, make grants, and participate in other companies. The foundation can also transfer the fulfillment of its tasks to other organizations, acquire them, and promote existing ones. The foundation has no commercial purpose and does not strive for profit. Within the scope of its purpose, the foundation can operate both domestically and internationally. The founders explicitly reserve the right to change the purpose of the foundation in accordance with Art. 86a and 86b of the Swiss Civil Code.
