Stiftung Urbane Diakonie

The foundation aims to support and promote diakonia in the broadest sense, i.e., service to humanity within the church and societal framework. This can include diakonia projects in the city and canton of Zurich or in other cantons, the promotion of professors or chairs in the field of diakonia in Switzerland, or charitable aid to those in need within the context of church projects or initiatives. To ensure its charitable purposes, the foundation may engage in any activities suitable for achieving these purposes. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help objectives. It is subject to the supervision of the federal foundation authority.
