The acquisition, preservation in as original a condition as possible, the restoration in a manner befitting a monument, maintenance, and revitalization of Walser houses in the Safiental. In fulfillment of the foundation's purpose, the foundation intends to acquire, preserve, restore in a manner befitting a monument, and revitalize the Walser house Nüw Hus built in 1787 in Innercamana, municipality of Safien. The preservation of this unique monument in terms of its authenticity should simultaneously contribute to the preservation of the intact and worthy of protection village image of Innercamana. The revitalization of the Walser house Nüw Hus through use as a holiday home serves the preservation in as original a condition as possible. To promote cultural activities in the Safiental, the house or individual rooms can also be made available temporarily for visits, exhibitions, house concerts, guest catering, or similar projects and events. Rental of the Walser house Nüw Hus and any further houses as year-round occupied houses is not excluded, taking into account the respective current situation in the Safiental and maintaining the foundation's objective. Resale of properties is only permitted in exceptional cases. The foundation develops and implements suitable measures in accordance with its objectives. The foundation is free in the choice of means. It does not pursue commercial purposes and does not aim for profit.
