The foundation's purpose is to promote the dissemination of the Christian faith. To this end, Christian societies and works in Switzerland and abroad, such as movements, missionary organizations, educational and charitable institutions, and Christian communities, as well as individuals, are to be supported through financial grants if there is a need for it. These beneficiaries must (cumulatively) a) unequivocally confess the divine truth and authority of the entire Bible in doctrine and life, and place Jesus Christ, the Son of God, Redeemer, and Lord of life, at the center of all proclamation in a living way; b) be independent of the state (i.e., not state or national churches and their employees). Promotion abroad should also take place particularly in poorer countries. The foundation does not pursue any commercial or self-help purposes.
